Dr. Brian Hartman

I was born in Indiana and spent time in Virginia and New Jersey before returning to Indiana for high school and eventually my career. I am married and have two boys.

I practice Emergency Medicine full time in Indianapolis and enjoy the fast-paced action of the ER. I have a short attention span, which lends itself to the rapid-fire shifts in the ER. My clinical experiences influence my writing in many ways. I try to give my readers a first-hand view of life in the ER, as well as the behind-the-scenes emotions that doctors, nurses, and all staff feel throughout the day.

I have several books started, and Redemption — the first novel in the Dr. Bryce Chapman series — was just the beginning. Since then the catalog has grown to ten novels and counting, spanning medical thrillers, eco-terror thrillers, and psychological drama.
