Living on a luxury sailboat in the South Pacific may sound perfect, but beyond the tranquil shores and stunning sunsets lies a different world — one filled with those who couldn’t tolerate a life on land and fled to the sea to forge a life without limits, or extradition treaties.

Brody had what seemed like a perfect life. He ran one of the leading social media sailing channels, which boasted nearly a million followers. A state-of-the-art catamaran, streaming revenue that far surpassed his expenses, and a live-aboard girlfriend named Cat, whose Portuguese lineage made her a natural for life on the ocean. But a boat can only be steered in one direction, and two people pursuing different goals were bound to run into problems.

A stop at the fabled Blue Hole Atoll was meant to create a new chapter in their journey together, and it sure did — just not one that either could have predicted when the wrong number of people showed up to greet them.
